The Careers advisor for Stirling High School is Ian McCartney.

Mr McCartney is In School Monday and Thursday every week.

The role of the careers service within the school is to help students make realistic choices about education, training and work.  This is done by dialogue with the student, listening to their ideas, discussing their interests and skills, then  providing guidance and support.

To make an appointment simply fill in a 'Contacting Careers Scotland' Card - in the library and place in the box provided.  The usual waiting time for an appointment is 8 - 10 days, but frequently sooner.

Mr McCartney is also available for consultation at parents evenings.
