Start-up Stirling is a local charity which supports individuals and families experiencing financial hardship and housing difficulties. Working in partnership with a range of agencies, they run a Food Bank for the Stirling area and provide Home Starter and Well-being Packs and a Befriending Service for vulnerable local people at a time of crisis. They depend largely on a team of volunteers and the donations and financial support of individuals and local organisations.
Stirling High will start collecting for Start-up Stirling from Monday 9 November just before school and at break in the Hub. Most needed items include: cereal bars, sugar, tinned goods, rice, diluting juice, UHT milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and cooking sauces. Please donate what you can. If everyone in the school donated one single item we would be saving hundreds of families in Stirling from hunger. Any queries please see Miss McSweeney.
