Results day – Tuesday 7 August

You will receive your Scottish Qualifications Certificate (SQC) by mail on Tuesday 7 August.

Exam results will be sent out on 7 August 2018 by text message and e-mail from 8am.

If your post has been and your exam results are not included, you can contact the school to receive your results.  Please do not phone before your post has arrived – it will probably be a little later than normal due to the increased deliveries.

Do not panic if you did not get the results you expected.  It may be that a university offer is still open to you through the UCAS’s clearing service.  You can find out more information on the UCAS clearing website.  Help is also available if you did better than expected – check out the UCAS Adjustment website.

Advice for pupils and parents

The exam results helpline – 0808 100 8000 – is there to help with advice and information if you did not get the grades you had hoped for.

Post-results information for pupils and parents is available on Skills Development Scotland’s My World of Work web service. There is also information about Modern Apprenticeships and Foundation Apprenticeships at

Students can also access help, advice and support via SDS’s Facebook page which has practical help and links to SAAS, Young Scot and the SQA.

SQA post results service

SQA offer a post results service where a clerical check can be carried out on an exam script.  SQA only accept requests from the school directly.

Please read the school’s policy on Post Results Service at the link here. If you have any queries regarding your results please contact the school.  Mr MacLeod will be in school on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 August from 9 am until 12 noon to discuss anything related to SQA results.  Mr Downie will also be in school at the same time to facilitate course choice changes.

Stirling Council have also produced useful results day information: Stirling Council SQA Results leaflet 2018
